We have put together a Support Coaching Program or Menu that we feel will be of service to
any company who want to grow their staff and want to provide them with support. We also have the added advantage of offering intuitive feedback in the sessions, although big intuitive calls will be handled separately.
About Coaching
Executive and Corporate Coaching is now an established personal and company performance
resource employed by over 80% of fortune 500 company executives as they keep ahead of the
pack and minimise stress and pressure. The Harvard Business Review, as long ago as 2003,
actually put the figure at 90%. This service is so successful that even then it was growing at an astonishingly cumulative rate of 44% per annum.
Downsizing, de-layering, multiple takeovers and rapid changing face of business have increased pressures exponentially over very few years. Instant knowledge, information and communication
have given rise to the need for accelerated decision making, and time pressures have intensified. Simultaneously these developments have removed the natural peer coaching and mentoring
processes which until recently struggled to remain part of company cultures.
Competition between executives within companies has also contributed to a general 'neither seek
nor volunteer advice' syndrome. At the same time a growing culture of responsibility and blame avoidance, has given birth to a tendency to joint decision making. This, in itself conflicts with the demands which developing technologies are placing on individual capabilities.
Coaching has developed to reverse such trends. Its' task is to facilitate and accelerate the
informed decision making process and to assist with focus at the expense of trivia and un-
important issues. It is the natural aid to management. The Coach is a sounding board, and
informed resource, a partner who can assist in depressurising, time saving and problem solving.
Coaching however is not a training process; neither is it only learning process. It is a process
of optimisation of skills, talking through the best way to achieve success. It allows for the
identification of issues, removable of inhibiting influences and attitudes, deployment of resources
and prioritisation.
Coaching involves an external and objective partner in the business that is totally successful-
outcomes orientated. A Coach is a person who can see the broad picture and has no other interest than to promote performance enhancement.
Your Coach is a confidant who can be trusted with the details of the issues and help the process
of getting perspectives and priorities in proportion. They will take you through frustrations, the process of management and if required be a mentor.
